Jacquet West – General Manager 2017 – retired in 2021 Guided growth from $6m to almost $12m in sales while adding a third waterjet and bar saw with inventory.
United Performance Metals – West Region Branch Manager 2010 – 2017 Guided growth from 1 person 5k sf warehouse to 55k sf warehouse with crew of 10, complete with shear, two slitting lines and an edging line. Branch sales growth from $5m to almost $16m and achieved my personal sales growth from $3m to $9m.
Prior to above I worked at Indalex Aluminum and Hydro Aluminum in direct mill sales. From 1992 – 2007 progressed from Inside Sales to Inside Sales Manager to Carbon Steel Product Manager and then Senior Inside Sales Manager with the companies that were merged into to become Integris Metals and eventually acquired by Joseph T Ryerson.
Started in metal distribution at Joseph T Ryerson in Fabrication Sales before moving over to A.M. Castle Metals. Two great places to learn a lot in metal distribution sales.

I started at A.M. Castle while in College. After graduation I was hired by Allegheny Ludlum as an outside sales rep in Los Angeles. I was promoted and transferred to the San Francisco Bay Area. Eventually, culminating my direct metals experience as General Manager of a 36 Million Dollar Specialty Distributor of Aluminum Mill Products in San Francisco. Started metal sales recruiting business in 1984. Retired in December 2022.
